Embedding (external) feedback in bulk
Why this request? Reviewers without a Supademo license review the language / translation of the Supademo. It’s currently only possible for them to leave external comments, but this comes with downsides: They cannot copy the hotspot text to make language changes because the hotspot is interactive: reviewers will therefore need to rewrite the entire hotspot. Their suggestions cannot be bulk imported. It would require me and my team to manually overwrite each hotspot that requires changes. There is also no export option to export external comments to have the changes bulk imported with Supademo’s MCP. This feature request (bullet 2) also addressed this back in November 2025 - https://feedback.supademo.com/p/more-translation-hub-adjustments-3 External comments are collected per slide only, but with several languages available for reviewers to choose from, it’s recommended that these comments can also be filtered per language. The current process is very manual and slow. I’d therefore like to suggest (one of) the following feature requests: Ideally, an “edit hotspot” option for external reviewers. They can update a hotspot, which can then either be accepted in bulk before publication, or accepted manually per hotspot before publication. This feature would be similar to Articulate Rise’s language review (localization). Alternatively, the option to turn off hotspot interactivity during review so the hotspot text can be copied and pasted into an external comment + external comments can be exported to an Excel (CSV) per slide AND per language. Alert moving to archive when Supademo in use in another product
At least an alert to inform the user moving to archive that the Supademo is in use in another product (Showcase, for example). Could also be a block function which is unlocked when you unlink that Supademo from other products.
Screenshot of first screen on chapter 1 should update when HTML is updated
When a guided HTML demo is created, a screenshot of the first screen captured is included in the title chapter. However, if the HTML of that screenshot is updated, the screenshot is not.
Automatically update translation after step changes.
If a hotspot or voiceover changes, the translation should automatically update - or at least prompt me to update the translation. If I forget this step, the translations get out of sync with changes I’ve made.
Sound to be muted or on before demo starts
It would be great to be able to choose if the video automatically started with or without audio. Particularly for the voiceovers.
Video Analysis
I would love to get some basic analysis of my videos. How many watches would be a good place to start and then grow into things like drop off times etc.
Translate the hotspot step counter
Everything else in my demos are being translated except for the step counts on the hotspot. I think these should be translated too
Automatically setting the screen dimensions to the same as the previous step
It’s always difficult to get the exact screen dimensions correct when multiple users are recording Supademos on different screen sizes. I’d like to be able to auto-adjust screen sizes to match the previous step when I go to Add more steps > Record more steps
Ability to upload scripts to the video feature
For videos created outside of Supademo, it would be useful to have the option to upload the script to enable CC for accessibility. These videos already have voiceovers and I can only enable subtitles or CC when the audio originates from Supademo. Being able to host these videos on Supademo is fantastic, but having the option to include the script to generate subtitles would be great.
Bulk edit the hotspot texts
defining hotspot location is a one time thing defining hotspot texts requires iterations would be great if editing here would edit the hotspot too. easier workflow: I’d only have to paste once all the reviewed steps (one text from 1 to 9), you’d use AI to match numbers and bulk edit it.
When on the supademo view link: allow to copy text
what: I want to be able to copy paste this text. When pasting, it only paste the hyperlink why: I want to be able to hand this to Claude and iterate
Use keyboard arrows to reach next hotspot
currently, using keyboard arrows sends us to the next step, it’s irrelevant. Instead, make us land on the next hotspot (either within the same step on in the next one).
Add "rephrase" or "improve" AI assistant
To rephrase my hotspots, I need to go on Claude. Custom: ideally, you’d allow us to setup our custom prompt in the settings. UX: then you’d make those prompt available from the hotspot pane with a dedicated button.
Add option to insert and auto-resize from Step 1
What I’m trying to achieve: insert and resize an image as step 1 which original ratio is different from the other steps. Issue: As it’s step 1, it prompts me to either use the image ratio as default or discard. It doesn’t suggest me to auto-resize to fit the others. Workaround: I insert it as step two, crop image, move it to step 1….
Order bug
uploaded media: video context: several cut made inside the video issue: you reorder my cuts unvoluntarily and I lose time and energy reordering them. Very very frustrating. I thought it was my fault but I’m encountering this in every project… easy dev suggestion: add a tag to each cut to at least enable users to retrieve order easily….
Glossary
Other AI video translation tools have the option to upload a glossary so the AI can stick to specific wordings in the required languages. This is something we are missing, and it makes translation a bit manual, as we have to go language by language to fix these wordings."
Make Hide Sensitive Data Modal Movable
The Hide Sensitive Data Modal that appears before starting a demo is immovable and is obscuring the custom elements that I need to select. Please make it movable.
Feature Request: Custom Thumbnail for Demo Cards
It would be great to have the option to manually upload or select a custom thumbnail for each Supademo card in the dashboard/library. Currently, the card thumbnail appears to be generated automatically from the demo content, while the Custom Meta Image only affects the shared link preview. It would be very useful to have a separate “Card Thumbnail” setting, allowing users to: Upload a custom image; Select one of the demo steps as the thumbnail; Use the chapter cover image as the thumbnail; Preview the thumbnail before saving. This would help keep the Supademo library more organized and visually consistent, especially for teams that create many demos and follow a specific branding standard. Suggested location: Demo Settings → Appearance → Card Thumbnail.
Ability to Line Up AI Voiceover with Video Sections
I am creating a Supademo and added a video recording as one step so that the viewer doesn’t have to click through several individual steps. I added several hotspots to the video and enabled the AI voiceover for the video step, which is using the hotspot text, however I cannot line up the voiceover with the hotspot displays. Instead, the voiceover just narrates the text - I used expressive mode to add pauses between each spiel, but it isn’t a long enough pause for the voiceover to line up with the video sections I want.
