Video Recording + Edit Improvements

MUST: Add preview of video on screen during the recording to monitor facial expressions etc. It’s difficult to monitor this in real time without feedback. Great if it can be toggled on / off MUST: Video Edits: improve selecting & deleting segments. It’s particularly difficult to select shorter segments. I suggest allowing segment selection by clicking on the segment time marker. NICE: Speed: Allow segments to be sped up & slowed down NICE: Filters for lighting, soft focus. OK bc I am on a mac but I imagine on a PC, this could be problematic

We’d like to optimize the way our metrics are reported in order to eliminate the need for manual video counts and improve overall reporting accuracy and efficiency. For monthly reporting, it would be great to have the following updates: Dashboard / Overall Chart Add Total # of Unique Viewers to the overall chart. This should be included alongside the existing metrics (Total Viewers and Average Engagement). Export File Enhancements The export file should include all metrics, specifically: Total # of Views Total # of Unique Viewers Total # of New Supademos Created per user Total # of Active Supademos Engagement These changes will allow us to rely fully on automated reporting and remove the need for manual tracking. It would be great if you could help us with implementing these updates.

alternative screenshots for each language

I would be great to have a feature in the Translations Hub that allows users to upload alternative screenshots for each language. Currently, when switching between languages, the screenshot remains the same.. This limits the accuracy and realism of multilingual demos. It would be extremely helpful to have an option to assign or upload a different screenshot per language, so that when the user changes the language, the corresponding localized image is displayed as well.

Manually Select the Primary Language

At the moment, the primary (source) language is fixed once the demo is created, and cannot be changed afterwards. I would like to request the option to manually define or update which language is considered the primary one. This is particularly important when: The initial language was chosen incorrectly. The demo is repurposed for a different audience.

Play/Pause button location

The Play/Pause button location in the top right corner of the active area is problematic. In our case, it is covering a critical button for application operations and when we are recording the demo that button is completely obscured, making that step in the demo very confusing )as the viewer cannot see the button mentioned in the voiceover). Looking for a solution that will either move the play/pause button outside the demoed space area, or make the play/pause button movable so it can be moved to a neutral are in the demoed space.

Recorded video disappeared

I recorded a 15 minute demo video. Idea was to break it up later into smaller chunks of 30 second or 1 minute to showcase features. The video recorded successfully, however when i came back to it later, I had to re-login and the video was gone. Can't find it.

Why can't I make a screen recording of more than 50 MB without upgrading to growth?

That can't be right. I just recorded a screen recording of 2 min ish and because it was more than 50 MB I had to upgrade to growth which is 450 $ a month. That's a really anti growth strategy for your great product. We are looking to cancel now.

CSAT feedback on Supademos (3-face rating + optional comment) I’d like a simple way to see if my Supademos were useful to users. Specifically: Add a three-icon rating (sad, neutral, happy) at the end of a demo. Allow users to leave an optional comment after selecting a rating. Surface results in a lightweight dashboard or export so we can track CSAT over time and identify improvement areas. Goal: Quickly measure usefulness, collect qualitative feedback, and iterate on demos based on real user input.

Save progress if CTA link is clicked

I was working on a Supademo and accidentally clicked the '+Add CTA' button, which wiped out every single update I'd made to the Supademo. Considering this was just an advertisement to upgrade, this is a very poor user experience.

Update recordings without having to re-record the entire action again.

I have seen some tools that will auto update a recording if the platform it is recording updates. Example, if the icons on a site updates, Supademo updates it. I know that is really hard and likely impossible in many situations, so an option to update recording, where you do the same actions, and can select to use the interaction text again would be great.

Merge Issue

When merging 2 demos, almost all the settings are reset to Supademo's default. I have to reconfigure branding and sharing settings.
