Enhancement Request: Advanced Video Editing Capabilities

Overview
To improve usability and efficiency, the video editor needs more precise playback and editing controls, along with basic media enhancement features.

Current Challenges

1. Limited Playback Control

   • Unable to start playback from a specific point in the video

   • Requires replaying from the beginning each time

2. Inefficient Editing (Cutting Clips)

   • No direct way to cut/remove a specific section of the video

   • Existing workaround is time-consuming and disrupts workflow

Requested Enhancements

1. Seekable Playback (Scrubbing Support)

• Enable users to click or drag along the timeline to start playback from any point

• Include a visible playhead for precise positioning

2. Native Clip Trimming / Cutting Tool

• Allow users to:

  • Select a portion of the video

  • Cut or remove that segment directly

• Provide intuitive controls (e.g., split, trim handles, delete segment)

3. Background Music Integration

• Allow users to add background music tracks to videos

• Suggested capabilities:

  • Upload or select music from a library

  • Adjust volume levels (separate from original audio)

  • Trim or loop music to match video length
